Noah Beck and Siena Agudong Return for SIDELINED 2: INTERCEPTED

Get ready to head back to the field — the beloved Wattpad-inspired romance SIDELINED is officially getting a sequel.

Following the breakout success of SIDELINED: The QB & Me, which became Tubi’s number one title in both the U.S. and Canada upon its 2024 premiere, SIDELINED 2: INTERCEPTED will dive even deeper into the emotional highs and heartbreaks of its young leads.

Based on Tay Marley’s Wattpad hit The QB Bad Boy and Me — which has amassed over 31 million reads — the sequel follows freshman star quarterback Drayton (Noah Beck) as he faces mounting pressure after a major setback. Meanwhile, dancer Dallas (Siena Agudong) begins to question the future she once thought she had all figured out. As distance and self-discovery test their relationship, both Drayton and Dallas must learn that sometimes the bravest thing you can do is let life — and love — take a new direction.

Joining the returning cast are Charlie Gillespie (Julie and the Phantoms), Sage Linder (Descendants 3), and Roan Curtis (Firefly Lane). Fans will also see familiar faces, with James Van Der Beek (Pose) and Drew Ray Tanner (Riverdale) reprising their roles from the first film.

The sequel will once again be directed by Justin Wu, and is being produced by Thunderbird Entertainment’s Great Pacific Media, Marshall Arts, and WEBTOON Productions. The film’s writing comes from Crystal Ferreiro, with an impressive list of producers that includes McKenna Marshall, Adam Wescott, Maxwell Mitcheson, Lindsay Macadam, Jason Fischer, and WEBTOON Productions’ David Madden and Jason Goldberg, alongside Wattpad President Aron Levitz.

Executive producers include James Huntsman, Lisa Gutberlet, and Kalani Dreimanis for Blue Fox Entertainment, and David Way, Tony Chung, and Lori Massini for Great Pacific Media — as well as Noah Beck, Siena Agudong, Crystal Ferreiro, and Justin Wu themselves.

SIDELINED 2: INTERCEPTED promises more heart, growth, and grit as Drayton and Dallas take on life’s next chapter — on and off the field.
